of the Albanian Dictator Enver Hoxha for most his life. The villa
today retains many of the original features that used to make it so
attractive and exclusive. Built in the style of a mountain cabin but
that has been recently refurbished with all modern comforts, it is
situated in a strip of land surrounded by canals, beautiful gardens,
flowers and tall willow trees. Of particular interest would be the
room of the dictator turned into a suite, now popular with those who
can now taste what was once totally forbidden. Vila Art is part of
Albania’s past and present history and by staying there you

FACILITIES
The hotel has 6 rooms of which 4 twins,
one double and one suite. The Albanian stylish restaurant offers
the best fish of Ohrid Lake, but in winter you can also enjoy the
taste of fowls or other forest animals cooked in traditional way.
The coffee-bar inside or outside in the garden and small wooden
cabins can host up to 250 persons. The villa itself is like e mini
exhibition. The rooms have TV, shower, mini-bar, elegant furniture
and central heating. Conference and meeting room with a capacity
of up to 25 persons. The staff is able to communicate in English,
Italian, Macedonian and Greek. |
