FACILITIES
This complex offers a total of 27 chalets,
consisting of double beds, air-conditioning, heating, TV, mini-bar,
en suite bathroom with shower and all have balconies overlooking
the beautiful Ionian Sea. 6 of the chalets have two separate rooms
within the quarters, one room consisting of a double bed while the
other has two single beds. This is ideal for a small family. The
restaurant seats a maximum of 100 persons and can be converted into
a conference room accommodating 60 persons. It offers a mixture
of Mediterranean and Albanian culinary creations and has a wooden
pizza oven and a barbeque spot in the open. It also offers a children’s
playground and secure parking for several cars. The personnel of
the complex are friendly, competent and can communicate in English
and Italian. |

Situated
7 km from Vlora on the national road between Vlora and Saranda,
Olympia Touristic Village is a complex of chalets with wooden roofs,
one of the few complexes of this kind in Albania. It consists of
27 chalets build on a slope almost on top of each other, retaining
a characteristic feel of the houses found in southern Albania especially
Berat and Gjirokastra. It is a refreshing site to the eye when compared
to the architecturally similar hotels that have covered the coast.
It is a nice attempt of sustainable tourism development in Albania.
This complex which can be easily accessible by road from Vlora is
esthetically pleasing and offers rooms with modern comforts and
balconies with a sea view. Olympia Touristic Village is also ideal
for couples on their honeymoon or romantic gateways.
