We were rather disappointed with the Hotel Butrinti. The hotel clearly advertises that they have a pool and when we arrived we were informed by the receptionist that we had "full use of the pool". However when we went to use the pool, it was evident that it was unuseable - extremely filthy, with a hosepipe in it. We discussed this with the receptionist who was extremely unhelful, gave us a variety of poor excuses (without apologising once) including that "the pool was outside".
Several other parts of the hotel were also closed while we were there, including the roof-top terrace and the downstairs bar. This had not been made clear to us on booking.
Our room was clean, with a beautiful sea view. However we were also disappointed by the breakfast, as there was no breakfast selection when we were there, as clearly there were not enough people in the hotel to warrant the breakfast being laid out. The waitor bough us a nice breakfast, but we were disappointed that there was no selection.
In summary this hotel was basic, and very over-priced for the service we received. For future guests considering staying at the Butrinti - I would recommend checking in advance which facilities will be available to them. |

we tested 3 rooms before to have one running correctly !
This hôtel need a refurbishment.
Too noisy on the seaview side, not coming from the hôtel but for the others restaurant...Techno music at 2h of the morning |

Room lighting needed 3 bulbs replacing, but staff very quick to arrange this. Friendly and helpful staff. We used room service, which was excellent. Food very good. |

COMMENTS:
It is a pity that on the side of the road opposite to the one where the hotel is located,(downstream, when you go to the beach) a lot of garbages (plastic bags and bottles) covers the ground. This does not give a good image of the hotel and of the category it deserves.
